about Breathe

Alex (1) .jpg

Fifteen years ago, Alexandra embarked on a transformative journey into the world of meditation, guided by the wisdom of the Buddhist tradition. Her initial inspiration came from the pages of Alan Watts's enlightening book, "The Way of Zen," which ignited her passion for meditation.

Eager to delve deeper into this profound practice, Alexandra sought formal training in Meditation and Holistic Studies at The Meditation Space in Sydney, Australia. This was the first significant step on her path to mindfulness and self-discovery.

Alexandra's journey didn't stop there. Over the course of a decade, she explored the globe, trekking through Asia, India, Japan, and Europe. Her wanderlust eventually led her to the serene town of Rishikesh, nestled at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas. In this sacred place where yogis meditate along the Holy Ganga River, Alexandra immersed herself in Yoga studies.

Under the guidance of Yogi Shobbit Ghanshyala, she delved into various yoga disciplines, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Flow, Yoga Therapy, and Sivananda. Her thirst for knowledge and self-improvement drove her to study with Master Teacher Yogacharya Sandeep Pandey, where she honed her skills in Yogasana Philosophy, Meditation, Pranayama, Shat Karma, Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, and Yoga Restoration. At the Siddhi Institute, she proudly earned her RYT 200-hour Teacher Training Certification.

Today, Alexandra's passion lies in breath work, Japanese forest bathing, mindfulness meditation, zen meditation, and the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. Her mission is to empower others to master the art of breath, meditation, and Hatha Yoga.

Alexandra is not only dedicated to her personal growth but also to the wider community. She is a proud member of the International Meditation Teachers & Therapist Association, holding certifications in Meditation and Holistic Counseling (IMTTA), Sound Healing with Tibetan singing bowls, and Yoga Nidra Teacher Training. She is also a certified RYT 200HR with Yoga Alliance.
