2021 JULY
YOGA NIDRA
YOGA NIDRA
Living a life of gratitude brings you a lot of positive changes and helps you notice little wins – like the sun shining, someone saying a compliment to you, or having wonderful people attend your meditation practice. Once you add gratitude to your daily habits, you improve your well-being – your mental and physical health changes for the best, enabling you to notice joy and happiness in everything that happens to you.
Today and forever I am always grateful for all the students who participate in my classes and workshops.
Grateful to be teaching and educating those on how to live better lives through the power of Meditation and Yoga Nidra.
To all my beautiful students who bring their love and devotion to the path of transformation through meditation and Yoga Nidra. Without you, this could not be possible. Many blessings and great things are heading your way!

YOGA NIDRA
A state of consciousness between waking & sleeping.
Are you ready to go deep and transform your mind, body, and soul?
You will enjoy a relaxing and calming meditative yoga practice before embarking on Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep) journey. Yoga Nidra Tantric is an ancient tantric method where the mind and body are in deep relaxation.
It requires no physical effort as you practice it laying down on your back. This meditation technique relieves you from any built-up tension in the mental, physical, and emotional mind/body and promotes deep rest – just 20 minutes of practice equates to 4 hours of deep sleep.
Join me this coming July for this (1) day event to experience the transformational power of Yoga Nidra.

MIND. BODY. SOUL EVENT!
Spring is in the air, and with it comes a new sense of hope and renewal. As we shed the winter blues and head into what is hopefully a new transition of new beginnings it’s an opportunity to make positive changes to your physical and mental health.
The Boonton Holmes Public Library has partnered with the Boonton Elks Lodge #1405 to celebrate springtime with a “Restore & Reset Wellness Weekend.” From Friday, April 9, through Sunday, April 11, the weekend features three full days of events focusing on mind, body, and soul rejuvenation. A wide variety of programs will be offered, including yoga, meditation, life-balance coaching, art therapy, and more -- all led by expert instructors in their field. As a special treat, award-winning musician, Rae DiLeo, will give a live performance at an informal “Happy Hour” with refreshments on Friday evening, April 9.
The wellness weekend is the brainchild of meditation and yoga practitioner, Alexandra Juryte of Breathe to Heal Meditation. “Alex’s instructor credentials, plus her experience as an event organizer, makes her a natural to lead this ambitious effort for the library,” says Lotte Newlin, Library Director. “Her vision for a weekend devoted to healing and self-care persuaded us to try something a bit out of our usual comfort zone.” Alex will lead daily meditation sessions Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The library’s own team member and 500T yoga instructor, Laura Kraus, co-leads the weekend and will teach her popular lessons in gentle yoga all three days.
All events will be in-person, with all CDC and state recommended COVID-19 precautions in place, including temperature taking, social distancing measures, and sanitizing between each event.
Participants must pre-register for up to 4 events across the weekend, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday: 1 yoga session with Laura and 1 meditation session with Alex are required (any day). In addition, participants may choose 2 elective activities. Please note that occupancy per session is limited and spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A modest prepaid sanitation fee of $20 is required, please. You may pay by debit or credit card via Signup Genius. Cash or check are accepted at the library circulation desk.
Register/Pay on Signup Genius here. If you are having trouble registering, we can help. Just call 973-334-2980 or email bhpl@boontonholmeslibrary.org.

Welcome to Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation with Alexandra Juryte.
A Guided Meditation for relaxation, stress and anxiety reduction, and relaxed awareness and mindfulness.
Please join me for my newest virtual program at Boonton Holmes Public Library.
I've prepared a virtual 6-part series to help us through these difficult times. New videos appear every Wednesday @ 10:00 p.m. for the next 6 weeks, starting Wednesday, November 4th thru to December 9th.
Yoga Nidra is a powerful meditation technique adapted by Swami Satyananda Saraswati from the traditional tantric practice of Nyasa. It is a healing technique that helps remove deep-rooted tensions in the body and mind by consciously entering a state of complete relaxation. Often referred to as conscious sleeping or sleeping with awareness, Yoga Nidra is quite different from regular sleep.
Take time now to relax and restore with Yoga Nidra.
